Yeah, he can but he certainly doesn't have to. Given the board rules about copyright, starting a thread with just a snappy title and a link seems to me to be quite reasonable. It's also pretty common.

If you really object to it, you can always hit the report button and report someone for excessive thread creation or something. But both you and Mohawk600 surely understand that arguing over thread creation style on the open forum is a waste of electrons, right?

I agree he doesn't have to, but he seemed to take offense when someone posted a sarcastic response to his snappy title. I was just trying to point out if he really wanted a discussion, he might offer some sort of summary to get things started.

My only other reply in this thread was when he asked which threads I was referring to, so I pointed them out. I didn't reply to those threads, and won't reply to any other threads with just some random title and nothing but a link I'm not going to click on without some idea of what I'm supposed to be reading/seeing.

I assumed others here felt the same way. If I'm out of line, please delete all my posts from this thread. No hard feelings.
