Apparently someone live streamed an arrest in Boerne a few days ago. The City of Boerne released the dashcam footage yesterday. Pretty interesting. Obviously the police did nothing wrong.

It's hard to tell, but it sounds like the first cop fabricated grounds for arrest. Outside of that, I don't see any unreasonable actions on the parts of the officers.

I fully understand the situation, or at least believe I do. There is one bad incident with LE officer doing very wrong, resulting in the death of a person, and now, everyone wants to start claiming police brutality, even if there clearly isn't any.

Reminds me of the little boy who cried wolf to many times. At some point, when you have cried too many times and it's really happening, no one is going to believe you.

That was at the car wash on the left coming in on Main Street. It used to be a favorite location to catch speeders before the exit off the interstate was closed for road construction.

Having seen BPD in action before, they tend to be aggressive if you’re not from around here. Doing 51 in a 50 was the reason given for that stop.

Nothing wrong with Boerne, we go there all the time and have never had or witness anyone having problems.

The problem is once again an ignorant individual feels they are entitled to special treatment when they break the law. She got everything she deserved.

Fritze’s is pretty good! Too bad Soda Pop's got so expensive and is now closed on Sundays. It's always been a favorite, but now we've shifted to the Boerne Grill which has much better food and a nicer atmosphere.

Stay away from the Hungry Horse! It's the Luby's of Boerne!

I thought he said 61 in a 50 (but I wasn't sure, and it could have been 50). That's right at the line where most cops would bother to pull someone over if they're on traffic duty.

As per a 21 year veteran and LT of a local PD, a radar gun, even shortly after being calibrated, can be off by 2 MPH up or down, but only if going 51 in a 50 not 61 in a 50. Some of the things you have to do when stopped are..show your hands, stay in your vehicle, produce ID. If you refuse to do any of the above, the officer can, and probably will, remove you from your vehicle.

I think it's better to do as the officer said than be dragged from your auto and going to jail.

It was actually 51 in a 45. Officer misspoke.
