I got to talking about this today with 2 members here
Why is this front sight sloped like it is?
    Higher in the back ?
It's an aftermarket sight for a Redhawk

The serrations are to prevent glare......so not on backwards.......as to sloping to the front? Don't even have a guess......shouldn't make any difference in the sight picture though.....

I just received my SA Ronin Operator with FO front sights. They were the same way.
Same on mine. I didn't notice it until you mentioned it tho. Small serrations visible on the back and definitely slanted. Pardon the leather chafe.

Now you've taken it back full circle from where we were yesterday. Grind on it or hit it with a hammer.
Why is your solution for anything involve hammers or grinders ??lol
BTW..we need to eat lunch today if you can

I agree with the light-gathering function. Also, it likely makes holstering a little easier.

I was just going to say to make it easier to get in a holster.

Sloped or straight shouldn't affect light gathering ability or sight picture.
