I have reminded myself I'd rather be a good witness than a dead or jailed hero, I am not a hero nor do I want to become one; yet, I have been carrying additional self-defense equipment, have my head on a swivel, I have put myself into a higher level of situational awareness and a mindset geared toward avoiding trouble but yet defending myself should it come to that. I also have been doing things like making sure my phone is always charged, am changing batteries in my flashlight more often than necessary (assuring freshness), am keeping at least a half tank of gas in my car instead of letting it go to 1/4 before filling up, have extra water and food in my vehicle, have enough cash on hand should banks close or ATMs be destroyed and so on. I plan to avoid problematic areas known to me and if I should unknowingly enter a problem area and become aware of danger I plan to get out ASAP without confrontation if possible. Listening to news radio/talk shows while driving around instead of Pandora for music. Not much different than usual but certainly I am at a higher level of awareness and preparedness during these volatile times.

I have to wonder, what will this violent upheaval do to already diminished ammo and firearm supplies. I am guessing another run on whatever is available and yet higher prices. I imagine those who do not have sufficient equipment or supplies during this mess may want to stock up as best they can in the event the violent rioting and looting comes their way.

I got my FNX45 out of the safe and if I leave home I carry that instead of the 1911. That is about it beyond the regular old Wuhan Flu precautions already in place.

    Out here by the lake!
Reminds me. I haven't had one of those Hostess Orange Cupcakes in years. Wonder if they went downhill?
Hell yeah they did! Made in Mexico frozen then put out with 3 days shelf life. And you might want to look @ the shelf life almost place don't. Even their simply ass CakeDonetts went to shit. Brought to you by The New World Order!

Looks like many of y’all got truck guns. May have to invest in a new AR pistol. My car doesn’t have tenting so a tennis racket bag may do the trick
