    To All,

Fwiw, the BEST broodmare that we ever owned was an unraced (& damned near UNCONTROLLABLE) blood-bay TB, out of the great sire STORM CAT.
(ImVho, there was NO BETTER "running blood" than "The Cat".)

IF you were ever FOOLISH enough to "turn your back on her", you would get kicked, run-over and/or BITTEN.
(After LONESOME DOVE came out, our "hired man"/Frisco started calling her, "HELLBITCH 2".)

Over the > 8 years that we owned her, she presented us with FIVE great fillies & an excellent colt ("TJ" was "the spitting image of" his grandsire.).

Was "the evil witch" worth "putting up with"?? = You bet she was!!

    just my OPINION, satx
