What's that old saying some people use......
    Concealed is concealed.

Not that I would ever advocate breaking any laws, neither do I advocate abdication of your right and responsibility to protect you and yours.

If I SEE a legal sign I go elsewhere.

I have yet to see one but I dont spend 30 min reading all the shit lawyers make business put on their doors and windows.

Your poll needs another choice or two.
Same. If you have any kind of no gun sign (except for a 51% sign mandated by the benevolent government), I'm not going to bother giving you any money. And I'm exempt from 30.06 and 30.07.

I avoid anti-gun signs as much as possible. For the most part I ignore them if concealed carrying. I go in anyways. I'm not leaving a gun at home or in the car. I know many of you probably don't approve of me saying that or doing it but oh well.

True, which is why if you are going to carry concealed, carry concealed
Seecamp, KelTec P3AT, NAA Guardian etc.
I've stopped caring about carrying concealed. Let them see it, it's good for them and they need to get used to it. Apparently most people think I'm a cop any way. My wife says it's the way I dress. I make a point of not wearing LEO uniforms though.

Only place I go that doesn't allow conceal carry is gov office to get registration for my car and the hospital to see my son. I don't particularly care if they don't like open carry. I carry everyday and everywhere, with the two exceptions listed above
Do they have a court at the government office? You should be able to carry there if no court. Hospitals can post.

As has been said before, "Concealed is concealed." Unless SHTF then no one will ever know you violated that 30.06 sign. But when SHTF, you are ready for it. Just be ready for the fight for the rest of your life after the fight for your life (ie the trial).

If I can get what I need in a place that doesn't have a restriction, I'll go there and not patronize a place that purposefully restricts my ability to defend myself, otherwise I'll ignore the sign and do what I need to do. Concealed means concealed, and I can feign ignorance at least once.

Not a crime unless you fail to leave after being given verbal notice
Please clarify. You say it is not a crime to carry a concealed handgun into a 30.06 posted store unless you are given verbal notice? Class C misdemeanor?
    I may be misquoting you.

I believe he means, "oops, I didn't see the sign".
But, once they say something, ya gotta git....

Yeah, has a court. I think I could probably go in with it to the office, because the metal detector is just after that, but rather not get in trouble if I'm wrong. Also yeah, the hospital posts. I'm not trying to stir up trouble there with them taking care of my kid.

I know. Concealed means concealed, and no one knows you're carrying. In a perfect world. And even if someone dies happen see your concealed firearm, hey, the worse that can happen is they ask you to leave. No harm, no foul. In a perfect world.

In a not so perfect world, Mr. Murphy has a way on intervening into your business, and totally mucking it up. Seen that happen a thousand time!

Verbal or written warning to leave. As long as you comply, no harm, no foul, right? Wrong. The written warning was the sign you violated when you entered carrying a concealed firearm. In Mr. Murph's world, the business owner doesn't go to you and confront you and ask you to leave. He calls 911 and tells the popo, he has a person in his establishment that has a gun. Ooops! Things are now fixing to get interesting! Popo arrives, and now you got some splaining to do Lucy! If the business owner/manager/clerk wants to press charges, well, guess what? you're fixing to go downtown in cuffs. The business is well within it's rights to press charges.

Granted, the scenario I laid out is a bit exaggerated, but very plausible. It could very well happen. This is exactly why I would never carry past any sign prohibiting the carrying of firearms. Technically, you already broke the law when you ignored the sign and decided to carry anyways. You can't claim the moral high ground in this situation. You can't wrap yourself in the Flag and the Constitution, and claim your rights to self defense. What about the rights of the business/property owner, you just violated?

And here's another perspective to think about. If the business is displaying a 30-06 sign, doesn't it stand to reason that it's very possible that they could very well be anti-gun, or even anti-2nd Amendment? And if they are, why would any law abiding, Pro-2nd Amendment gun owner want to spend their money with such an establishment? Just think about how many business' we discuss every day, every week, every month on this forum that we are boycotting, and refusing to do business with because of their anti-gun opinion and policies.

Just give this post some honest thought and think about it.
