    I worked for the govt many years ago and had to get to the Washington Naval Yard. That area in SE looked like a war zone; burn cars, junk and many buildings that looked like they had seen a bombing raid. I had heard that the DC Police wouldn't go into the area on calls because it was too dangerous. Feel sorry for folks of any race who are forced to live in that situation.
