    Hi,

I am in the DFW area and am possibly in the market for either a Chevy or an Audi. If you are a sales rep, please shoot me a PM. I'd rather work with a community member than any old stranger.

    Thanks

Actually, based on all the Chevy rentals I've driven over the past few years, I've been somewhat impressed! I think they are the best-looking American cars available these days! I even see visual similarities between them and Audis, especially in the Camaro, Malibu and Impala.

However, I also get the chance to drive Audis when I go to Germany, and there is a marked difference between the two marques. But the same goes for their prices! Audi is my favorite German brand, followed closely by Porsche...

I just got out from an A4 that my wife "had to have". Great car and fun to drive but maintenance is a nightmare. If you buy a used one make sure it has the wheel lock keys in there. Ours didnt and we couldnt get the tires changed.

Fortunately this was the last straw so I traded it in. Just a word of warning, give serious consideration to imports/luxury cars before you take the plunge. It was an expensive mistake on her behalf.

I got 4 years of free scheduled maintenance thrown in when I got mine. I was actually looking for used but they were trying to get rid of new inventory at the time so I got a great deal. There's a good vw/audi specialist in town when that runs out after next year.

Saw a great tv show about the A7 the other day. Made me want one.

Anyway same type story for me on an A6 for wife. Used, out of warranty. Huge mistake. Worst event was when it rained it would fill the car with water and ruin the underseat computer/s. Known problem due to A/C inlet stuff
