Dusted off my .22 I built and took it out for a bit this morning.
Shooting at 50 yards with Wolf Match Target I discovered it still shoots as good as it did the last time I took it out

Got bored shooting paper so spent the next hour shooting poison ivy vines until they separated. No pics of poison ivy vines. That stuff sucks and I did not want to get near it. Shot a wasp that landed on target as well. Couldn’t find it for photo op.

Would you mind eleaborating on your build? Barrel, stock etc. nice shooting too.
Started out as a Ruger 10/22. Receiver is the only Ruger part left. Kidd 20” match barrel, Kidd internals, Evolution stock. Scope is a 1st gen Vortex Viper PST on a one piece Warne mount.
Trigger is Volquartsen , but I think the Kidd trigger is just as good. VQ was on sale, lol.

Thank you. I have an extra 10/22 and have been thinking about doing something like that.

A good shooting 22 rifle is a lot of fun. But, after a group or two, other targets are more fun. A golf ball at 25 yards, then again wherever the golf ball lands, repeat until the golf ball is out of range.
Peanut butter on a solid white target will attract flies. Shooting flies at 50 yards is a hoot as well. This gun will do it with monotonous regularity. ;)

Good shooting Mr Hoji. Only person I know who could even come close to that was Jed Clampett.
There are at least 3 members here that make me look like a rank beginner when it comes to shooting.

Couple of guys at the gun club I go to shoot 6mm steel swinging targets at 50 yards with their .22 builds.
I can hit them, but not every time, and generally not while they are still moving.lol

A friend and I came up with a round of golf using various .22 rounds in lieu of clubs. Stingers/ Velociters for drivers down to CB shorts( or Aguila Colibri) for putters. Have yet to find a golf course that will let us play. :(

Hahaha, you wouldn't have to worry about the group in front of you playing too slowly.
