    Out here by the lake!
    Beans & franks. Rather enjoyed it, almost as ggod as when I was a kittle kid campimg out in the backyard. I try explain to my wife the foods she finds nasty are the ones we ate doing things we liked!

    A great cut of steak. stands on it's own. We have a local small grocery that we buy many of our steaks at. Really great cuts of meat, at really reasonable prices. We never need anything put on them once they hit the plate!

    The wife caught quite a few really nice catfish a couple of weeks ago. I think I am going to thaw them out, dust them with some seasoned cornmeal, fry them up and make some jalapeno hush puppies, french fries and cole slaw for dinner tonight.

    All this talk of peppers...

    When I was a kid, my mom would sometimes make tuna surprise for dinner. The surprise was that she would pick a handful of chili pequins and toss them in. Biting into one of those was always a wake-up. :)
