I'm definitely going to be at Hicksville Gun Range in Gatesville TX on July 11th. Probably get there as early as they open. I still haven't gotten a revolver, so I'll bring a couple lever actions and a bunch of ammo.

Gatesville is only a couple of inches on the map. Or, 4 1/2 hours. One of these days, maybe something will be a little closer to over here on the edge of Texas.

I’ll be coming from Cut and Shoot, not exactly close for me either.
Moonpie May be farther away than you!

I think that if you own a revolver and have a functioning vehicle and time off on July 11th, you should show up and let me shoot your revolver

Why has OP not posted pics of his new revolver?
Alright, thanks to @Moonpie's bad influence and awesome generosity I have purchased a revolver that I think I will greatly enjoy. Thanks for finding a good deal on one Moonpie.

Cimarron Evil Roy Comp SA 5.5" .357 Magnum

It's basically brand new, only thing that I need to fix is the front sight is painted and kind of poorly, so I'd like to take that paint off, but without damaging the bluing. If anyone has tips on getting the paint off without damaging bluing, let me know please.

    Beautiful!
Acetone or fingernail polish remover will get the paint off the sight.
