    Nice option package.
I look forward to the review.
Went with the Badlands because it is the highest trim you can still get with the manual, and comes with lockers and the better suspension standard. You're probably going to have to wait a whole year or more before I actually get my hands on it
Maybe they'll let me test drive a demo model before then.

Ford can go shit in their hat. What are the improvements they're offering? Wheels that fall right off at 100,000 on the nose?

Edit: Looked at the pics. It's like Jeep and Toyota had a mentally defective baby.

Really? This the most capable 4x4 in 35+ years. Go look at the spec sheet for all the improvements and features.

I like it, although no straight axle option like I was hoping for. Got to have that option for serious off-roading. Give a straight axle Bronco with a diesel and I'll be all over it.

It's been 40 years since Ford put a solid axle under the front of anything but a 1-ton truck, so that was a big hope.

TTB is why I went with K5 Blazer and not a Bronco back in the day.

Serious off roaders will rip that IFS out anyway, and likely would not have wanted a factory axle anyway.

As capable as this is, 99% of owners will never take it off road.

I get it, but a solid axle conversion is a much bigger project than an factory axle swap to get a more capable one. Who wants to dump another 10-15k just to accommodate an axle swap. This before you get to suspension.

That's why there are very few FJ cruiser solid axle conversions done. It's a ton of work, lots of welding, cutting and moving stuff to make it work.

When they're touted as a Jeep competitor, I would expect options to make that possible. I bet it's a bit of a pig too, making it top heavy and easy for roll overs with IFS.
