See this is why we can't beat stupid. They wear you out with it, drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. Its relentless, .....

Well...Stupid is as Stupid does and you can't fix Stupid.

Those same people that voted for democrat city leaders,
Are the same ones that riot and want less police.
The democrat city leaders tell the police to back down and
reduce police presence, numbers and budget.
It's an itch-scratch cycle even any idiot "should" see!
So must be dealing with both blind and stupid combined.

It seems whenever there is a report of a shooting, the first question that come up is “where/how did this prey get a gun?” The better question would be, “Why was this person in a place in life they felt this was the right choice?” Focus on the person, not the weapon used.

WOW. "Shooting" is a very loose term. There are all kinds of "shootings" There is the intentional murder because I want to, kind. There is the accidental kind, there is the flash anger kind. There is the criminal who uses a gun because they do that in their line of work kind. SO to just lump all "shooting" together is not a valid premise. What makes you think that someone felt this was the right choice? What presumption that they thought before they did this?
The use of a firearm follows many different paths and logic, or lack of logic. Legal use vs illegible use. There is no simplistic answer or analysis to "Shooting". Each is a case by case gather the facts and evaluate situation.

Good points all. But I was referring to and should have said “mass shooting”, when the targets are random.

Why is it that there have been many rallies all over the U.S. in the last six months where many citizens have been carrying firearms but there were only one or two arrests, let alone shootings?

But in Chicago, San Antonio, or the Valley, when more than two people get together to celebrate someone gets shot. Birthday parties, weddings, and even funerals, lead to mass shootings but the press do not call them mass shootings either. I even see that the press is working harder and harder to suppress the identities of the people perpetrating these crimes. San Francisco even said the other day they would not release mugshots in order to stop fueling the rhetoric about crime among minorities.

When police kill someone, the police are blamed. When a crim kills someone, they blame the gun.

I'm going to plaigerize this. Or plagerize? however it's spelled. Great, succinct, awesome statement.
