It will be here in about a week, I bought a Ruger 96 lever action rifle in .22 WMR. As new, the adv said, we'll see! This completes my collection of Rimfire Ruger 96's. .17hmr, .22lr, and .22wmr
I love the 96 lever guns. I have 2 and a half of them in 22lr. One has a integrally suppressed barrel.

Don't forget about the 96/44. Only ever seen one out in the wild.

I just received a ballistic panel for my backpack. Purchased from premier body armor. Rated IIIA and stated to be good for handguns up to 44mag and 12ga.

Only weighs like a pound and a half and is sorta flexible. Way better compared to the plate carrier. It fit perfectly in my smaller condor backpack in the hydration pocket. They have specific panels cut for alot of the main edc or bug out bags. I ordered mine based on size. 8.5x14 inches.

My reasoning is it would be better to have in there and never need it that not having it. Obviously not good for rifle rounds.

If my kids were going to school this fall I would have one in their backpacks for sure. We are homeschooling this go around. The good Dr. here (on tgt) has assured me that there is Marxism about and schools are a big breeding ground.

They shipped fast and have in stock clearly marked.

.308 to match my bolt gun. Dont have the resources to get into another caliber at this point but I would like the 6.5cm in the future

You can do like I did and just buy/build a 6.5cm upper. It will mount to your AR-10 lower. Of course, you need to make sure it is a compatible platform (DPMS LR-308 vs Armalite).

My neighbor came over and said a guy at church had an old shotgun he would like to know more about. Since I’ve been into shotguns for a long time he brought it to me.
This is a Sears model 21, made by High Standard, 20 gauge pump gun made in the early sixties. There may have been a time between J.C. Higgins labeled guns and Ted Williams labeled guns.
It is a modestly priced gun due to the fact that it is not a take down model like Rem 31, Win 12 or Mossy 500.
Win offered a gun very much like the Model 12 but was not a take down model. It is known as the Model 25. Nice gun, not too popular.
This is a two action bar repeater. Plain barrel, ordinary wood.
I extolled the virtues of this cutie and pronounced it to be worth about a hundred dollars and sent the neighbor home with four 20 gauge shells useful for home defense.
The next day, my neighbor texted “He wants to sell it. am I interested at $80?”
    Okie dokie!
Shot it today at sporting clays. Shot it well and so did the other guys.
I got me a new rain gun!
    Woo, hoo!
It’s a bit of a pounder with factory hunting shells but is very tame with my softie reloads.
