I’ve bought several police trade in from Sportsman’s in the past for around $200 shipped. Just got the email for these. They looks beat especially at $599

Yeah and.... The ones pictured are most likely the best of the lot. Imagine those that didn't make the cover!

One of the best shotguns ever made, but in that condition, they're probably worth $150 each.

That’s what I was thinking. Hell I paid $220 for an unfired 870 Ohio National Guard with folding stock and bayonet lug just a couple years from Sportsman’s. Those were rare guns 5E630AD6-4A5F-4A81-B29A-346F70A2312E.jpeg 55CAB22B-42C9-4AD6-BFA5-8B0FE8A5C131.jpeg

If I had to venture a guess, if they are like other police trade-in shotguns I have bought in the past, they should be barely shot. The cosmetic ugliness is easily fixable. But not @$600, lol

Yep, these guns may very well have less than 100 rounds down the pipe. I would buy one if priced less than half. But I'll bet they'll sell out of these at 600 bones, there is a shortage of pump shotguns out there, and newbies will get these for home defense. 12 gauge shells can be had, but 9mm is almost impossible.

Getting a Ohio NG 870 with bayonet lug is my dream shotgun, not a fan of the underfolder though.
Being a ex NG soldier has something to do with it, I enlisted in Idaho originally. I already have the correct bayonet.

Really regret not buying one of each model. Didn’t want the wife mad at the time though.

From what I remember reading when they were available, people where saying the bayonet lug was almost impossible to find before they released the ong guns to the market.
