Here you go.We need a repository of well written, letters that could be sent to our elected state and federal politicians covering a range of 2A topics that are rational and coherent.
Who wants to volunteer.
And you think liberals care about this?Seriously.....I don’t see much if any firearms banning taking place. A large chunk of our nations tooling and manufacturing base is in firearms not to mention the revenue and taxes it generates in many different areas.
And you think liberals care about this?
These are the same people promoting the Green Deal which would put the entire country under.
Wide ranging response.(I edited this version and inadvertently doubled the content and changed some formatting during a red-edit but the fucking site logged me out and I lost the additional content-a primary reason why I limit my posts to brief responses. Oldag tends to put efforts into his responses that are coherent and informative and I felt the need to reply due to the complexity of factors involved. Damn shame I lost that much content, it was significantly improved, in readability and focus. Seriously though, wgaf. And I’m out of stoli
oldag, Yes, I do. I’ll preface the reasons why with the following.
There’s more to this perceived issue of gun control, mass shootings, racial tension, left/right ideology, etc and the growing conflagration of frustration that’s erupting in response. The mob mentality that’s snowballing activism, acts of violence, ongoing demands for immigration reform and secure borders, and the outcry for a solution to end the shootings (ban firearms) and the collateral attack of demonizing what the media and minorities calls “white culture/priveledge” and white supremacy is a replay of the same shit that been happening since this country was founded. Native Americans, Chinese, Negros, Irish, even when (suffragists). Every immigrant and minority that’s stepped foot in this country had to deal with discrimination to some extend until they hopefully found cultural refuge and worked their ass off to make a living. The civil war wasn’t just about Slavery, it was driven by political/cultural/economic ideologies clashing until someone said fk it, declare war and let’s see what happens (like all wars, a fkn disaster) Demands for equal rights, free trade, citizenship, equality, you name it, conflicts over social issues have and will continue in perpetuity. It’s a facet of democracy. We the people have a voice. And it will be heard. And some will oppose it. Multiculturalism and divergent interests is a significant reason. There are others, I’m tired and don’t want to write a fkn dissertation so that the short version.
What the left/right/lgbt whatever the fk/white/brown/black/Asian, whoever, is soon going to have to face is an economic issue that more that likely will come to pass. The ones that don’t have a clue don’t know, and the ones that do are beginning to worry, (and I’m sure major exporters Germany and China whose GDP is driven by exports are secretly close to freaking the fk out over it. They’re deflecting attention from global financial markets that are a hairs breadth from imploding. Fed rates lowered two months ago, a significant chance of US treasury bonds with negative yields which isn’t that unique considering most first world nations have negative yields. But it’s a first for the US. Do you know that the consequences are if that comes to pass (and I’m sure it will-China and Germany needs their asses kicked for not playing fair in trade and financial markets). If a country or institutional investor has invested (China=$34 trillion) in US treasuries and it’s return is in the negative, they LOSE money. And they can’t cash them until the dates of maturity. That opens a HUGE can of worms. And it will have a significant collateral affect on the economy of our country in world trade. The economic affect within our borders, not so much. We are and can be self sustaining if need be. But it will be painful as fk. And there are those in the beltway, Wall Street, finance, and others in this country who see the ramifications. But it needs to happen. And I think it will. But I don’t see a huge chunk of our nations economy thrown out.
I do see a choice being made to stop the influx of unfettered masses entering our country. If our economy contracts, no jobs. It won’t takes long for the economics fire to burn some political asses to persuade them to dispense with manipulative emotional self serving rhetoric and focus on what’s most important; the welfare of this nation and it’s citizens. Brown, black, Asian, white, whoever. Particularly I f you’ve earned that right through birthright and hard work
Whats driving the media attention is fueled not so much by opposing ideology or frustration but by inflammatory rhetoric. but by the lack of a coherent political response to a number of societies ills. and reality of the fed rate reduction a couple months ago coupled with the prospect of potential negative yields for US treasuries and the collateral consequences is soon going to have a trickle down affect that will be felt the most by unskilled labor. Hopefully, they’ll focus on taking care of their constituency and stop pandering with absurd, knee jerk reactions that are unrealistic and at times delusional.
I can’t say I know any true racists. But I do know many who aren’t willing to give handouts and want our borders closed to illegals. For reasons of security, multicultural cohesion, limited natural resources and infrastructure, and economics. That, is the root cause of many of this nations ills and the collateral consequences of political irresponsibility in enforcing the will of the people. Not the UN or anyone else who doesn’t belong here and want entry to take this nations wealth and redistribute it globaly by breaking our laws and not earning that right. It’s a slap in the face to legal immigrants and the citizens of this country who have a codified right to equal protection under that law.
Something to keep in mind. Our rights as a country and race encompass much more than gun rights. As a white man, I will not be silenced. I have the right as does everyone else to voice my opinion on illegal immigrants and equal rights under law in a respectable, coherent manner without being attacked on emotional, moral grounds that lack foundation and a veiled threat to accede to the demands of those with differing opinions. And our nations failure to protect those rights is disgraceful. Im not racist, I’m not a white supremacist, I merely want to preserve this nation that my forefathers built and died for and I will not stand by idly and watch it turned into a third world country by a swarm of criminals who lack the moral compass, fortitude and perseverance to build the nation they desire in their homeland and come here because it’s the easy way out and expect our country’s citizens to pay their way. **** that. I’ve heard and read many citizens and difference races all across this country state the following; Anyone that thinks that’s going to happen is delusional, and I agree.
We are not the dumping ground for people of failed nations from all over the world.
Two things, jack and shitWhat did they do when they had full control 2016/2018?
Wide ranging response.
I will leave it at this. I think you are giving liberals far too much credit. I don't think they could care less about losing a gun manufacturing base (or the jobs and tax revenue that go with it). After all, millions of jobs will be created by the Green Deal.
These folks are only worry about power - via getting elected. They don't care about their constituents. And they believe that taking these leftist positions will energize their base and get them elected.
If the economy tanks, so much the better to them. They will blame Trump.
I sense sarcasm. After all, millions of jobs will be created by the Green Deal.
