Haha yeah. Dang man, I didn't even realize you were from the forum. ;)

I didnt want to be the "Hey guys I'm from the INTERNET" guy.

However once I saw Texas1911's shirt I did say something. I really enjoyed that VR-ish shooting program they had in the little room, fun times.

Hi - yes, I'm Brian (known alias: genieinthelamp). I have video snippets from the event that I've been organizing into a video montage and also by person. I had hoped to finish this past weekend, but you know how these things go. Also, I'm not so speedy yet with Sony Vegas, so the editing takes a while (but I'm getting faster as I go).

I will post a note when the videos are ready. I'm planning on youtubing them unless there's a better place.

    Beef Jerky Drive Update

I just wanted to give an update on the final tallies for the Beef Jerky Drive:
698 - total number of pounds of beef jerky collected and mailed. 112 - total number of pounds of event t-shirts sent to the 1st Cavalry. 342 - total number of patriots who came to the event. 2 - total number of rude post office counter-bitches that got mad at me for bringing so much work to their counter, in spite of the contents and purpose. 164 - total number of 1st Cavalry soldiers receiving your goods. 2 - Total number of months brass was collected and sold to re-loaders in order to pay the postage. I thank all of the TGT guys, it was great to get to know ya'll in person and helped restore my sanity. Thanks again and let's look forward to another event to help improve the quality of life of someone deserving.
