I have a Ruger barrel with sights in a railed browning receiver and it seems very accurate (at least at 50yds),, the sight flips up and down but it’s useless because of the receiver it’s in ,, currently has a red dot optic but debating on removing the front and rear sight or selling this barrel and get one that has no sights.... and how do you remove front and rear sights without doing any damage ?

Front and rear sights on a 10/22 barrel are in dovetails. Just use a nylon dowel and drive them out. The front sight is in the band that goes around the barrel. The band will remain.

Please post a picture of the 10/22 barrel in the Browning receiver.
