I like collecting weirdo AK mags. I paid a bit of a premium for some Norkie 20 rounders.

Look up fluer de lis flat spring.
There are also prototype glass filled that fetch even more.
For me the <$120 Russian aluminum waffles or slabs are the max.
Though I do have a few drums worth a couple hundred each. I don't even use

I only collect Warsaw Pact mags, but paki mag prices are pretty much a supply / demand situation. There's not that many in the US and lots of collectors dig them for rarity (here) alone. It's the same reason civy AK12 mags from Europe sell for $140+ here, but are cheap overseas.
