why do you never cut and paste some of the topic that you stick links too?
I think that can actually be illegal, oddly enough, in today's interwebs. I've seen copy/pasted stuff receive cease and desist orders. Not sure of specifics, though.

Lazy / non-committal is my best guess. Admitted pot smokers confound me though.

If linked and quoted, that shouldn't be an issue.

    Shouldn't!

These are comfort items for Homesteading refinements without power. The washing machine is a good idea. The solar ran electric motor (Not just the gold cart) would come in handy.

Wine would make an excellent bartering tool.

Why does everyone think that everybody will want to barter with them ?
There won't be any bartering until everyone runs out of ammo first

Might be able to barter with some locals you already know.

Even in that case, having a still making high proof moonshine would be of much greater value than a wine making kit.

The golf cart mentioned and referred to as "perpetual motion machine" isn't. That's not what perpetual motion machines are and that panel would charge at a much slower rate than the power would be consumed in the batteries.

The washing machine, way to small to really be useful. Doesn't look like it would hold a pair of jeans.

Just to name a few issues I see.

    Note to self.

Look at the possibilities with the golf cart.

I see a solar panel, controller, battery pack, and a motor that can be applied to other things. Back up power for radio, lights, etc.

Hooked to an air blower. You could use it for a open forge.

Connected to the washing machine. You wouldn't have to crank it.

I thought the gold cart was the neatest part. I'd take it apart and use for something else.

The water filters......bla bla bla. We all have a clue about about what to use and the good ones.

The archery, is an excellent idea.

Cast iron pots and pans impart iron to food. They're heavy as fu*k but a good item to have non the less. Especially a Dutch oven.

I think some long or even hope for a post apocalyptic world.

If the world were to turn into something akin to a Mel Gibson/Mad Max world, I'd choose a simpler path as in I've lived a long, wonderful life.

I'm not going to live a post apocalyptic life style, pursuing a grubby, miserable, foul existence, just to keep sucking up air. Nope. Which, by the way is something I experienced as a child. So, I know what it's like and it won't ever be something I'll willingly experience again.

I wish all you survivalist/prepper types the best of luck.

If the world turns into Mad Max one, you're gonna need it.

no freaking way that solar set up can run an forced air blower big enough to run a forge. the math don't work bro
