I am the second owner of this 2014 Triumph Bonneville, clean title in hand. Black with a cranberry and white stripe on front and rear fenders, and a red swoop on the tank. Factory chrome parts, I haven't customized anything on this. Bike is completely stock, originally purchased from Eurocycles in Plano, taken to them for tires and general inspection of the bike, no issues thus far. Owners manual, Haynes repair manual were used to document oil changes, brake pads, and brake fluid, battery swaps, etc. Wolf pillion bag also included. 1st owner described it as a 'grandma's bike' because its confident but sedate in riding which I agree with.
I have a USB and battery tender lead bolted to the battery, USB cable to the handlebars to charge a phone at the phone mount. I've used my phone as GPS and bluetoothed to my helmet and its good. K&N filter cleaned and re-oiled each oil change. Registration is in March, if it doesn't sell until spring or later I won't be upset. About $58 a year for registration and $140 a year for full coverage insurance.
The good:
-45mpg during spirited rides. Runs on 86 Octane regular.
-cheap insurance
-ample power but not enough to get you to jail
-never crashed, laid down, dropped. Always been on rubber.
-Factory seat has no tears or scuffs in the vinyl
-Comes with a smoked clear plastic wind deflector
-865cc Parallel twin, engine dyno graph included but not this bikes dyno; mine's never been on one.
-1 down, 4 up, 5-speed.
-Aftermarket is enormous for these if thats what you're into.
-Comes with Haynes manual; full guide to maintenance and actual step by step repairs of the bike if needed.
Not so good:
-10 year old bike has 10 years of scuffs, stones, swirls, etc.
-A bit of a rattle of the headlight or speedo can at specific RPMs, something is loose and will resonate at lower engine speeds. Everything is functional and is fine other than the rattle.
-Side reflectors (rear fenders) have fallen off while riding, the double sided tape residue is evident on the rear fender in a couple pics. I simply haven't replaced the plastic reflectors and 3M tape.
-Missing steering lock key. Its never malfunctioned and locked me out, but the dealership wanted some preposterous amount to re-key it so I just never did it.
24,xxx miles and I take it out every weekend. No known mechanical issues, never really had electrical or any other issues either. Used in summer rush hour traffic no heat issues. Feel free to ask any questions or request specific photos.
Asking $4200. Not sure that I'm looking for any trades but it won't hurt to offer.
