    Hello
I have a Marvel conversion and am looking for a complete frame 1911 to mount it on.
Getting tired of swapping it. It will live permanently there.
    Thanks

Unless you are in to finishing out a stripped frame, which if you look at prices on Brownells are north of $400 for the bare frame, you would almost be better off buying an inexpensive 1911 like a RIA or Tigas. Check centerfiresystems.com for pricing. Here's an example:

You will probably have to do a trigger job on it to make it more target capable.

    Helotes!
GSG 1911-22. I picked one up for $199 delivered after a rebate from Palmetto State Armory. They don't go on sale that cheap too often, but if you're patient (I think I waited over two years) you might be able to score one for about that price!

There's a thread about them somewhere on this forum...

    Cheers! M2

That still leaves him with a conversion kit without a frame.

    A location might help.

Every once in a while a stripped frame pops up on texasguntrader.com. Posting a WTB thread there may be helpful too.
