officer that man saved us. Yes ma"amYou can carry a full-size 1911 without a belt...as long as you don't have much body hair. It does require a certain amount of duct tape...
For what it's worth, Eric of HBE leatherworks, makes an awesome CZ holster. Made one for my CZ83 that fits like a glove.
.Is he still in the business?
Get the holster now and use a regular belt until you can spring for a proper gunbelt.Btw, that "Workin' Man" rig is pretty much exactly what I'm looking for. Only cheaper. LOL! I know, I know, you get what you pay for and all that. But 200 bucks for a new holster and belt (after tax and/or shipping) just ain't happening right now.

Beltster, concealed carry holsters, colt handguns, glock handguns, leather gun holsters
At $100 it's kinda' overpriced but it does give you a belt and a holster. I've only seen one in use. It was worn by a Texas Ranger I saw at a cafe here. Just a thought.

Which level of retention? A holster with a thumb break is a retention holster (Level 1), and obviously can be had in leather.
Level 2 or 3. Something a bit more sure than just a thumb break.
Ouch. Just . . . ouch!
I appreciate all the information in this thread -- I will be looking for a good holster soon for my Sig 1911.
