So I have a series 70 that I want to put a new trigger in. I dropped the trigger in put everything back together, rack the slide, pull the trigger and nothing happens. Funny thing is when I put the original trigger back in it functions correctly.

I'm sure you'll need more details but I wanted to put my question out there to see if anyone had dealt with this before.

It is adjustable, the new trigger is longer but the dimensions of the trigger bars are the same

Have you un-adjusted it? If it is adjusted too far the gun will not fire as the trigger can't move back far enough to release the sear.

No problem at all Big Phil.. And thanks guys.. Always appreciate kind words.. Problem with the trigger was the bow had been shifted alittle causing it to not engage the disconnector correctly, I reshaped it and that works great now, but he is having to replace the trigger spring due to prior work, spring was filed alittle too much on the return leg and disconnector is getting locked on top of it.. But we got her figured out and it'll be all back in good health in no time!
