    Hi everyone,

For some obscure reason I find my self with a pretty nice Python on my hands.

Well truth be told, it was left to my wife after her brother passed.

It is nickle plated as were Colts in that ers and shows minimal wear and a few rusts pits, but very few pits that might be fixed by buffing.

Anybody know what it is worth, for insurance reasons only?

...and you are very likely to diminish the value if you do any "buffing."

True. If it's got that kind of value and you want to preserve it, it needs to stay untouched. If you want a shooter, rehab away.
