Spoke to comp cams and they didn't make a mistake, the autozone system didn't send the year of the vehicle with the special order so now I'm waiting to hear back from them again to see when they are going to send the new part. Other than this it's just waiting for comp cams to finish the special order valve covers and everything for the engine should be done. I'll probably drive it around for a whole and try figure out what to do about the transmission, in not sure if I want to rebuild the 3 speed it has or put a new one in. Any one done this on a 289 automatic?
