Hello again, I've come to bring you more estimations of wait times.
It would seem that the DPS split the load of applications between 3 groups...Though I have no hard evidence of this.
Group 1: All applications up to approximately December 1, 2013
Group 2: Applications December 1, 2013 to Current
Group 3: Renewals
This is why some October and November applications are still out, taking 100+ days, while early January applications are already being mailed. Applications sent in as late as January 13 are being mailed.
Conclusion: It would have been better for you to apply the first week of January than in November, according to the reports I'm hearing. So without further hesitation, here are the current estimated wait times:
Group 1: 90-130 days
Group 2: 45 days
Group 3: 14-30 days
