Some very cool things coming out of DW next year. CBOB discontinued in favor of a Valor commander sized with a bob... both full size and commander Valors in black and stainless. And a officers sized 1911 with aluminum frame in 9 mm. Sadly, the prices are going up.

of course the prices went up,1911s are in all the gun mags....ALL the time.

The big problem with the DW's is threads that go like this.

"Need a good bang for the buck, semi high end 1911 around 1k?"

"DW!, their great and crazy under-rated!"

"Oh yeah, id put my DW against any of my kimbers and even browns"..

"Totally Agree... DW's are the most bang for the buck 1911 ever!"

LOL... The threads all turn into that.. now the price is going up... Just like the CZ's... they were such a great bang for the buck when they were kinda out of the mainstreem... now its popular and hurts us other guys who want more! :p

DW prices will be going up for good reason. Forged frames and tool steel internals. This is value added price increases. Not just inflationary pricing. The CBOB as I understand it will be available to dealers in California because that is one of two models that is Commie approved.
