Every meet, we do a pot luck. The more home made food that's brought, the better these always are. Chips and drinks are nice, but home made food really brings it home. So....what can you bring???

With that said, we still do need cups, plates, plasticware, and drinks. Also, I have started offering the range staff to get in there with us at the start of lunch since they have been so generous to us. They're pretty polite about it in return, but please plan accordingly. The room does have plug ins, and the range has grills they've offered to let us use. If you need to use one, please let me know ahead of time. The ones they have are gas, I believe. If you prefer charcoal, let me know and I'll bring mine.

Sausage and Cheese Balls. I'll be using about 2 lbs of meat for these, so if you or your wife wants to make more - go for it. I may go 3 lbs depending on my mood.

I'll be bringing the usual. Deviled eggs.
Can she make a few extra, or I have Jess make some too? They always go fast and I hear people disappointed about it. While I'm being picky, can someone do some non-spicy eggs? Spicy food doesn't agree with me.

I’m still in for a crockpot full of Pinto beans (ham hock seasoned) and cornbread (not the sweet kind). I’ll try to make enough of both to handle the crowd. Pictured in an earlier post - different thread. Maybe someone will bring styrofoam bowls- they’re kinda soup beans.

jrb, you still bringing some butter for the cornbread, right?

PS - I read about yore truffles a couple years ago; if you make them, I got dibs on one!

If my mother comes she can cook something, any requests? She can pretty much make ANYTHING.. I'm not even joking. It's not personal but I almost never eat anything at potlucks although jrb has gotten me to eat hotdogs twice now.. which is a miracle.

    Those truffles are good.

    That's me asking for them.

And it looks like Jeremy volunteered you to make deviled eggs too.
I can make the classic deviled eggs, if you want to do spicy......

Well,,,,,,ok. I can bring some. Not as many as last time though.
For those of you that have not been before, several meats and side dishes so folks can get a sampling is a good thing. Don't be afraid to offer up something even if it is not enough for everyone. Some won't eat venison, some won't eat beans. Other meats and side dishes are always a welcome addition.
