I'm very hot natured and I was absolutely miserable.
Had I been prepared for the temp, it wouldn't have been a problem.
I only had a light jacket with me.
Didn't even have pockets to put my hands into.

Yeah it was vicious that day. Low 30’s and wet. Took 10 pounds of mud home with me on the wheels of my cooler, and another 10 pounds on my shoes.

As much as I'd like to meet a bunch of TGT members, I have to back out. A 5.5 hour drive each way was okay, using points at a hotel okay too. Getting rained on and muddy maybe tolerable but would be little fun at my age. It also seems too many folks are either not going or dropping out because of the forecast. Hopefully I can make the one in the spring.

I was looking this AM and some folks have dropped out or are afraid of the rain. From Post 143 I have lined thru the dropout and bolded the rain scared. If Mr. Billtool don't show then someone needs to step up for plates and utensils. Also a few more sides besides beans would be nice.

Since we are not getting to use the class room, that could be a viable alternative. I can do both weekends. Might not be doable for all that signed up for Oct 2nd. The beans are cooking but It is no trouble to make more.
Even without the rain, at this point it will no doubt be muddy tomorrow. Any that would rather go on Oct. 9th instead, speak up now. For those that have reservations you can't cancel and want to meet up tomorrow anyway, we can make that happen. I'm good either way.
