Figured it would be safe to ride in my neighborhood this morning as everyone should still be hungover from last night’s festivities.

I refurbished my 20-year-old Schwinn 6 Speed Cruiser last year. I try to get in about 3.5 miles on most days. Bought me a small Bluetooth speaker, plug my iPhone into Pandora and listen to a little Texas Hill Country Music along the way!

Had to stop for a couple of minutes to put the bike between me and a malinois. No way I was going to outrun him on a hill. His human came out and apologized and called him back. All good. Going to keep a pocket full of dog treats for neighborhood rides

First out of state ride for the year. I do not do altitude well for the first few days. I was supposed to be here six weeks, but job got pushed a month and no one told me, so I only get a few days to ride in the 4500’+ elevations and when I leave on Tuesday I will almost be acclimated to it.
