    I have a lightly used Ciener 1911 conversion kit in the Commander length. This is the only kit they make that will function on Government, Commander, or Officer frames. It comes with one 10 round mag.
    It has around 100 to 200 rounds through it and it works perfect.
    $199 new
    $150 used with free shipping.
    This is a personal unit and not Talon Arms inventory so there is no sales tax in Texas.

    I am considering getting one of these in the future - but my 1911 is one of those Para light double actions - are they compatible with eachother? I would assume they are, but I figured I'd ask before spending some money.......

    I don't see why not. The hammer / trigger guts are independent of the slide.

    If you want to drive to Austin some day I'll let you try it out.
