The most recent generation S&W/Walther 22's are supposed to be pretty good. My first generation pistol went back to Smith for work twice. They replaced it, threw in a spare magazine, paid for shipping and had it back in four working days. It has a lifetime guarantee. Customer service told me that I could just shoot it until it falls apart and get a new one. As of now they have been good for their word.

Beretta model 87BB's are like precision instruments and are priced that way if you can find one. Anyway I love mine. It's a Beretta!
