Long story short I finally gave up on adding a PMR/CMR to the fleet.
Now need to sell the assorted 22 WMR ammo I have since collected.
What is the going rate or round?

Posted for informational purposes only. That and since I haven't bought 22 Magnum ammo in almost twenty years, (last time I had a rifle in that cartridge at least!) I was sort of interested in pricing of it.
If you look at AmmoSeek.com you will see a wide range of prices for 22 MAG from about 23.9 cents per round to 99.9 cents per round (I had to triple check the high price to make sure I was seeing it right). The thing about dealers listed on AmmoSeek is that some, usually the ones with the lower prices, charge exorbitant shipping fees. Impact Guns though has it listed at $13.41 per box of 50 for Winchester Super X 22 Win Mag FMJ 40gr, plus what AmmoSeek considers to be a lower shipping rate.
I bought some Federal Champion 22 WMR from Target Sports USA, this past August, for $36.79 per box of 200 with free shipping. That works out to $9.20 per 50 rounds. I am a Target Sports USA Prime member so get a discount plus free shipping on any amount of ammo but their regular price was probably only around 6 or 8% higher (cannot recall the discount % for sure but one of those I think). At the time, a box of 50 rounds of any type of 22 WMR was selling for about $15.00 per box at any other online dealer. I think they either found old stock that they sold at old prices or they made an error; otherwise they found a great deal on whatever amount of it they bought.
My guess is that you are not going to see it offered much below $14.00 - $15.00 per box in a local sale (including tax) of any sort of 22 MAG that does not require shipping and probably somewhat higher in price than that.
Before this panic i was purchasing.22WMR for $10 to $14 per 50rds at retail stores such as Academy, Cabela’s, LGS, etc.
It was slightly less expensive if purchased online in bulk.
Price varied on brand/bullet type. Speer Gold Dot or Hornady Critical Defense were the more expensive.
