I'll never question a mod or admin again. You know, the "don't give bad information, even jokingly because someone might not know the difference" thing?
Polish the ports, gee whiz!
I use to work at an oil change station when I was a teen. Sometimes people would come in with their own oil and have 3 or 4, 5 quart jugs. I would tell them that their vehicle only requires 4-7 or more for Diesels, or which ever depending on the vehicle. They would then argue with me about how I was wrong and that their civic (example) would hold 12-18 quarts.
A lot of people really have no idea how much goes in. Its even funnier when people complain about how their TPMS lights won't shut off and they have to keep adding air in their tires. I would go check them and they would be running 80-100 pounds of pressure in car tires. When I got them back down to 30-35 their lights would turn off. Then they would ask how much more I had to add.
People have no clue how these things work other than turning a key and putting it drive
