22 range scope

Any idea how well a 36x would work for spotting 22's at 100 yards?
Saw a 36x at Academy yesterday for $129 (iirc) that was calling my name.

While on the subject, how far could a 60x spot a 22?

Guy on another forum posted that a 25-30x would work. Ordered the same one from optics planet for $30 cheaper.

I can see my 223 holes pretty well at 16X at 100yds, so the 36X should work. Did you get behind the one at Academy??? How did it look and how was the eye relief?

Got a 20--60X Variable at Sportsmanguide.com for $59.95. Clear as a bell and even at the lowest 20x..........can see .223 at 100 yds clear as day.
