Cool! I like the way the Vanguard feels in my hand and on my shoulder. How's the trigger on it though? To quote David E. Petzel of field and stream "it was one of the more accurate rifles we shot but it had the worst trigger. It broke at 3 1/2 lbs but it was creeper than a centipede." This might not be an exact quote but it's pretty close. If I use the income tax money I might finally be able to buy a 3x9 rifle scope of decent quality to.

The triggers on my two are fine. You have to keep in mind that I am not a precision rifle shooter rather a hunter. If you get one with an iffy trigger you can get a drop in timney for around 120 bucks if I remember correctly. Also add a doe to the 25-06 talley.
