If you wear spurs like shown in another picture you will discover the problem with 3 piece boots. That seam is going to wear the top of your foot out.

It’s not a seam it’s an overlapping piece of leather. With properly fitting spurs, there is not a lot of pressure there. I’ve worn spurs for many, many years, although I hung them up a couple of years ago. Hope to strap them on again after getting two new knees next year, but we’ll see.

Square toe doesn't look that good, but "cockroach killers", "snip toe" (little square) & traditional pointed toe, I'm pretty sure, beat my feet up too much. That leaves round toe or square toe for comfort.

I prefer round nose over square, but it seems like most of what you can find nowadays is square toe. When you wear a size 14, and don't want to pay a few hundred dollars on a pair of custom boots, you sometimes gotta settle. I can usually find some narrow square toes.

I'm ok with the three part foot. Some styles look nicer than others.

Even worse if you wear a 13 4E. I'm pretty limited on what I can wear/find.

I can’t imagine you Sasquatches having a large selection of boots to choose from. When I bought my latest pair of work boots I had to give Cavendar’s my business which really irritates me. I was just looking for 11-1/2 Wide, and all anybody had that fit me was square toes.

What's wrong with square toed boots? I only ask as I am fixin to replace a pair of round toed boots (cheaper Justins) that I have had for the last 8 years.

I was actually considering a pair of square toed for replacements as I have never owned a pair.

They look goofy and make your feet look huge. Kinda trendy in my book but then I would never wear embroidered jeans either.
