300 blackout build question

Im looking at the CMMG barrel, Ive been reading and researching from what I gather I can use a mid length gas system correct?

They have pistol length and carbine length gas systems on 16in barrels. You'll need to read what one you're getting.

So I hate to sound stupid, but do these 300 AAC Uppers fit standard mil-spec AR/M4 lowers? I read the bullets use the same magazines as 556/223.

And one more question... How easy is it to get ammo for this?

Yes, use all the same parts except the BBL.
