    In the woods...
Sorry for horning in when I don't have what you are looking for.
I just wanted to congratulate you on the 99, and a great caliber. I've done some research on the cartride and it's history as I have given thought to purchasing a 99 in that .303 Savage. IIRC, it was Savage's way of creating a cartridge like the 30/30 Winchester and not wanting to stamp "30/30 Winchester" on their guns.
They are essentially ballistic equals - with the exception of frontal area.
Good luck with the acquisition and please keep us informed on your progress.

    I have a Model 1899 chambered for 30 Winchester Centerfire (30-30). Made in 1920
    Great rifle.
    I bought a CZ 52 rifle (7.62x45) and ordered a die set from CH4D

They do list a die set for 303 Savage.

Had to wait for a few weeks but they did make it and ship it to me.

Here ya go. Left overs from a long ago 99.

46 pieces of brass. Mixed headstamps. R-P and WW. Twenty of them are primed. A few of them have some corrosion on the rim/base.
The 20 cases in the box are virgin.
    All of them need cleaning.
Die set is Lee. I can’t find the shell holder so you’re on your own with that.

The gracious moonpie has offered brass & primers for my endeavors. The rifle is currently out of state, so once I get it I’ll post pictures!

I have always heard that you can ship primed brass. It is not ammo without the powder and bullet. Was I told wrong?
I mean it has to be true if I read it on the interwebs, right?

Finally got my hands on the rifle - it’s in excellent shape! Missing a buttplate but that won’t be an issue to replace. Still looking for additional 303 savage brass if anyone lurking comes across any - PM me!

I think that is false. My friends deer rifle is a 1928 99 in 30-30 Win.
