Finally got into the states yesterday, and had a chance to run by Academy and Sportsman's Warehouse. Been reading about several kind of guns, and found these rifles in stock, and the last is just an extra to put in. Looking for a hunter/shooter for longer ranges than a 223 allows. WIll get a scope and a bipod.

    Must haves
    Accuracy, sub-MOA at 100 yds.

    Wants
Light (Hit to the Savage 10 FP)
    DBM (Detachable mag)
    SLing attachability
    DK Firearms

The only gun that fits your demands is the Tikka T3, and you'll get 1" or better out of it.

Some of the others are just 1" guns, others are great platforms, but need mods for a box mag and other things. I really don't think you'll find a better gun, for the money, than the Tikka.

Alright guys, I have basically narrowed it down to the Tikka and the Savage. Both are DBM. THe savage has 9 round maazines available, and both seemed to feel good in my hands. Between the normal, nonbull barrel savage and the tikka hunter, which would you choose?

you dont have the remington 5r listed, and if you want a serious long range gun, thats what i would go with. i have 2, and they're real shooters. 4 shots, .3 in at 100 yds. for whats listed, i'd go with the 700 sps.

one of them just happens to be for sale...:)
