.38 Special load

Experimented a bit and had good results with this load, very accurate and clean burning.

125 Gr Flat Point FMJ (Berry's)
CCI Small Pistol Primer
4.4gr W231 (my new favorite powder)
Min OAL 1.425

Best .38 Special load Ive tried yet.

Sounds like a nice load. I have a similar favorite I use in a Colt Det. Spl. with a lead 158 grain semi-wadcutter but I use about 3.8 grains of 231 (IIRC). It's a light plinkin' load and my youngest daughter loves to shoot it. Very, very little recoil.
