Does anyone have experience replacing hammer springs on double action RIA snub nosed .38 specials? Specifically model 206.

I need less hammer return spring pressure.

I’m under the impression it’s a colt clone. Does anyone know what model, and where I can get a spring set?

I could take measurements if it comes to that, but I would rather hear from someone that’s done this before.

Website searches are coming up empty.

    Thanks.

    I received this information:

“Our M206 and M200 are designed after colt detective special.“ from armscor.

Just clip a couple of coils off with wire cutters. Reduced power springs are a waste of money IME (I end up clipping those down as well anyway).
