What was .45 Colt running pre BS?
Saw a box of Remington for $54.99 at Academy today.

    Is that about right?

Only have one pistol in that caliber and had maybe a couple of boxes on hand and do not remember what I paid.

I was buying it off of Midway USA for about $35per50. I bought several different brands. They’re now advertising closer to $50, and nothing in stock.

32-20 ammo is the same way, non existent. Im guessing that they quit making all of the cowboy ammo, and are concentrating on 9mm.

In 2014 I bought 10 boxes of Underwood 250 gr xtp JHP at $39.95 a box, $421.01 delivered. If that helps. (50/box)

The last time I purchased 45 Colt was in July 2014. Paid $35 ea for two boxes of American Eagle 225 gr. JSP. Plus $12 shipping. So, yeah, $41 a box.

My last order for .45Colt was last Feb right before the corona hit the fan. I bought a half-case (500 rds, 10 boxes) of Fiocchi 250 g Cowboy Action for $259 from SG Ammo. Also some boxes of Federal American Eagle 225g JSP for $34 per box. Seems like a lifetime ago...

I was buying cowboy loads in the $35 dollar range at the beginning. Prices started going up so I pulled the reloader out and bought components instead. Last May got a good deal on Hornady ammo out in the DFW area. I haven't had to buy at the extreme prices since. My local shop found some but it was sporting the price of $2.50 plus a round , just couldn't do it.
