I've decided that I really like the 9mm AR so instead of just keeping another SBR upper around for my lower, I jumped on one of these:

It's a dedicated 9mm lower that doesn't actually look funny... I knew I was going to end up SBRing another lower for the 9mm upper at some point anyway, so I just decided to go ahead and bite the bullet. It will come engraved with my info from the factory under the hard coat anodizing so as soon as it gets here, I'll be sending off another form 1!

Nice, you are still ahead of me then. I have only ordered 2 this month. An AAC Element and a AAC 762SDN6. Still waiting on the paperwork to SBR a 300 Blackout.

What model lower? That's exactly what I want to build.

It's a Double Diamond T1 Dedicated 9mm Lower AR-15 Lower Dedicated 9mm. It really is a pretty good deal for a 9mm lower. By the time you bought a lower and a magwell block, you'd be at that price anyway, and I think they look pretty nice with the cut down magwell and integrated trigger guard. I've seen very little online about these, so it was a bit of a risk, but if they work as good as they look, I'll be really stoked.
