Probably a dupe post but I thought it was a fun read...

2. Texas
Texas may be overpopulated, but one thing we know for sure is that EVERYONE down there is packing heat. Everyone. Moms, dads, grandparents, priests, doctors, librarians, bakers, candlemakers, teachers — the list will go on for hours.
Texas will more than likely turn into a John Woo shootout scene, doves and all, once a zombie is spotted in one of the state’s major cities. There will be blood, and there will be a storm of bullets, but you can guarantee that there will be a lot of dead zombies at the end of it all.
To this day, people always say to remember the Alamo. Sometime in the foreseeable future, we’ll be shouting “REMEMBER THE DAY TEXANS SHOT UP ALL OF THOSE ZOMBIES” at the top of our lungs. It’s not as catchy, but it’ll be memorable.
