Anybody try these new Barnes bullets? I have some on the way to try out. I like the idea of a bullet opening up and then driving a hole in a hog from stem to stern.

DSC00680.jpg I loaded a few rounds of the 55gr TTSX. Hope it works like it's big brother. My only gripe with the 223 is a good hunting bullet. Maybe I'm asking to much from the 223. I used Varget,H-335 and BL-C2. Set the bullets to 2.262 with RCBS 223 competition dies. When I get a chance I'm going to test for accuracy and function.

I would love to know if they work in the 5.56. I have only used them in .30

It is not a marginal bullet on either end of the spectrum. When it expands as advertised it is brutal, when it fails to expand it is about as effective as a FMJ.
