6.8mm SPC AR-15

Got a chance to pick one up locally...

Lower: Superior Arms lower w/ DPMS internals, Magpul MOE stock, no-name ambidextrous sling mount, ERGO grip (ripped out annoying bottom piece that never stays put) & magpul trigger guard.

Upper: Kotonics 6.8mm Mid-length complete Upper (purchased through here a long time ago) w/ YHM free-float Rail, low-profile gas block, and YHM flip-up BUIS. Also has an aftermarket charging handle and some UTG rail covers.

Accessories: 2 steel Brownell's 6.8mm magazines w/ black magpul "pulls" (plus 50rds SSA 110gr ammo if deal is FTF).

The price is $825 firm for the rifle and 50 rounds of ammo. My AR knowledge is limited, and I know even less about the 6.8x43mm round. Any comments/suggestions/insight would be gratefully appreciated!

Great round for hunting.

Uses standard AR parts, except for:
- Barrel
- Bolt
- Mags

Been around for a while, everything is fairly easy to get even though its not 556.

Yeah, but I went by Don's Guns this afternoon with a buddy who wanted my opinion on a few things and asked how much 6.8mm SPC cost. It's $25+ for a box of 20, kinda pricey. I'm still thinking, but since it's the beginning of the month we've also got bills to pay first so those are obviously a priority!
It's not like I'm rich like TRN, buying guns left and right! He's a bad influence!
