I always buy surplus ammo for my cz-52 from online sources. J & G etc. Never had a problem with it. Just make sure to clean the ttc as surplus ammo is corrosive.
I have a Polish Tokarev and love it. I bought a case of surplus corrosive from BRP Corp in Maryland, shipping was OK and also some mixed prv partisan and S&B from ammunitiontogo.com, they are in Bryan and you could save shipping by picking up. I have seen some at the gun shows, but overpriced. have not seen any elsewhere locally.
My friend has a silenced ar-15 chambered for that round.. it is pretty nuts.. he handloads .30 cal bullets for it.. and he has even shot a 168grn through the damn thing.
I saw a place that had surplus ammo for really cheap many months ago.. I will try and find it.
as an update I found out that Cabela's in Buda does carry this ammo, I was able to pick up 2 boxes. They are pretty pricey, but I also found I can order it online and have it shipped to the store in Buda and they will hold it in my name to pick up. I don't have to pay for shipping that way....
Winchester metric in the white box is repackaged S&B. S&B is cheaper by a couple dollars a box. Brass cased and reload-able.
Wolf gold line has a JHP load that is good quality. Cabela's has carried it.
John's guns in Bastrop has some Romanian surplus in stock.
Giddings gun shop has several flavors in stock.
This is a fun caliber. In low light the fireball from a pistol is a sight to behold.
