7MM magnum

[MR Redneck]

I was thinking about adding a 26" 308 barrel to my model 110 savage.
This weekend, some guy was shooting a 7mm mag. next to me and I thought I heard it calling my name!
Long range take down power is what im after. He said the 7mag is all I need.
Anybody got anymore info on this gun as far as rang and accuracy?
I think im going to get a browning with a 26" barrel and a flash hidder. Some state park " New Mexico I think" require a flash hidder.

Sorry - dumped it an' PM'd ya back...bottom line, I've done 800-yard shots w/'em. At 600-yards, they drop like they wuz pole-axed. 200 yard shots all day long...

If you go with it I have a box of 7mm 175 smks Ill sell you .... great BC.

I would also consider 300 wsm as you have a lot of choices there too.
